Hello!

It seems like March is just flying by!  I was playing with some My Little Yellow Bicycle the other day and here is what I came up with...

I put it in a frame I had and I used cutting files from the Kerri Bradford Studios.  I love my Sizzix Eclips, it makes cutting titles so easy.  I cut the title, birdcage and butterflies on the Eclips.  Everything else was My Little Yellow Bicycle.

Dear Lizzy Challenge

Hi all...

Today I am posting a really fun project I made using the new Dear Lizzy line.  I altered a cork board we had.  I made it into a Paper Doll Designer board for my daughter.  Here's what I used:

Cork board 3'x4'
Dear Lizzy 6x6 pad of papers
Dear Lizzy Ruffle Crepe paper
Dear Lizzy large tags
Dear Lizzy Phrase Garland
Dear Lizzy Wooden buttons
6 sheets of  Echo Park paper (the winter line)
Echo Park Candy Shoppe Alphabet sickers
Ribbons: White and Pink
12x12 page protector
(2) 4x6 page protector pockets
Tim Holtz knobs
metal clips
Wooden frame
Lettering Delights SVG Glam Girls
I made pockets with the page protectors, to hold the paper dolls and extra clothes.

Here are the paper dolls out of their pockets

I hope you like it!  Kellie

Family Tree

Today I am posting another Simple Stories project.  This is a Family Tree I made using the Simple Stories Generation collection.  There was a small tree on one of the element cards that was my inspiration for the tree.  I really want to make one using the new Documented collection, using a black frame.  My mom has already claimed this one for her mother's day gift.  Hope you  like it ...

Cake Centerpiece

Hello all,  today I am going to post one of the projects I made for my Simple Stories application.  I made a cake centerpiece, we plan on using it for my daughters birthday party for a table decoration.

For this project I used the Simple Stories Happy Day collection to make it.  This project was way too much fun to make.  I will post pictures of it in use after her birthday.  I am going to use the Happy Day Signature Elements, 4x6 Journaling cards to scrapbook her party.  Here's the cake...

I made the foundation of the cake out of chipboard sheets, then I covered it with the paper

On the opposite side of the cake I put a photo of my daughter when she was little
I made several flowers, I used the spellbinders die cut
I put the cake on turn table hardware, so it spins around
