This is still a work in progress, I am going to post the back side at the end of the week. This is a very easy project. All you need is fabric, 4 page protectors 12 x12 with 4 x 6 pockets, two regular 12 x 12 page protectors, bag handles and Simple Stories Handmade Holiday.
For each of the 4 x 6 pockets I made little folders to go in each one and each pocket holds journaling cards. This way I can journal each day and place photos or memorabilia in the pockets and at the end of December I should have everything I need to fill my album.

I love this idea! It would work well with other countdown -- a wedding!! Or, for a vacation you could use the same set up but not do the wall hanging. If you'd take the pages/folders with you and place items in each day, when you get home you'd have everything organized and handy for your album. I also love this idea because it's simple during the season but will allow you to easily create your album when we're in the long dark cold days of January.
